RC Forward is a Canadian effective giving platform that has regranted our pledgers donations to GiveWell charities since 2021. The Global Health fund makes quarterly disbursements to our Nonprofit Partners based on need and the discretion of RC Forward staff. These charities could include the Against Malaria Foundation, Malaria Consortium, New Incentives, and Helen Keller International.
AMF distributes long lasting insecticide treated bed nets to prevent malaria transmission for a cost of $8.38 per net. We estimate that AMF can save a life for just $7,679.
New Incentives increases the uptake of routine immunizations through cash transfers, raising public awareness of the benefits of vaccination and reducing the frequency of vaccine stockouts.

Our discretionary fund is allocated each year between our charities and our operating costs. In recent years, it has been allocated 100% to our charities.
Over 75% of donors choose the OFTW Top Picks. This group of charities is updated yearly based on the latest research from GiveWell.

Our discretionary fund is allocated each year between our charities and our operating costs. In recent years, it has been allocated 100% to our charities. It also holds sub-funds, such as the Fifty Squids discretionary fund.

Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention Program
Distributes preventive anti-malarial drugs to children under 5 years old to prevent illness and death from malaria.
About $7 USD protects a child from malaria through a full malaria season. GiveWell estimates Malaria Consortium saves a life for about every $4,000.
Provides critical nutrition via direct Vitamin A supplementation to at-risk children around the world to prevent blindness and mortality.
About $2 USD gives a child a year of vitamin A supplements (two doses). GiveWell estimates Helen Keller Intl saves a life for about every $3,500.
Provides cash transfers to incentivize caregivers to bring babies to clinics for routine childhood vaccinations.
About $146 USD gets one more infant fully vaccinated. GiveWell estimates New Incentives saves a life for about every $4,500.
